gah

i hate work..... its too hot and i dont like it....never mind


nearly 9 weeks pregnant now!!! its going very quick!!! i have bought my first air of maternity jeans and they are so comfy!!! apparently due to all the ivf drugs then with pregnancy hormones my ovaries are huge as are the follicles on them! lovely!

we saw a lovely little heartbeat on friday, it was such a relief, it is a meer blog in the scan picture but its our blob! the other picture is from when it was a 2 day old embryo just before egg transfer!! i feel so lucky, i really do. i am now 8 weeks pregnant!!!! have my first midwife appiontment on the 3rd june!!!!

getting nervous now!

our scan is tomorrow, and i am hoping so hard that it shows our little snug!! i am having nightmares as well about being scanned on a ward with everyone walking past and having a look??? gah . never mind, i hope everything goes well.

7 weeks today!

today i am 7 weeks pregnant, I still cant believe that i am pregnant, all through ivf I only ever imagined that it would work or it wouldnt, and if it did i never actually thought about the being pregnant part, i can honestly say that i dont feel pregnant or any different form my normal self?? i do get nausea mostly in late afternoon / evening, and my trousers are still tight (partly from the after effects of ivf) but apart from that there is nothing screaming 'your pregnant'!!! i am not worried about it, I still love saying that i am pregnant, there are no down sides to pregnancy !!!

our scan is on friday so i hope hope hope that we see a heartbeat, thats all that i want, if all goes well we can book in with the midwife!

went to see my cf team on friday, overall they think everything will go well, my consultant's concern is my diabetes getting out of control, but i intend to have tight control, my lung function is stable at 71% which i am pleased with, trying to hold off ivs now for at least six weeks!

shocked and pleased beyond words, i am so so exreemly grateful and thank ful that it worked!

having doe the injections for the last 6 weeks and then the egg collection (awful), 5 eggs, 3 fertilised and only 1 of a good grade, and then the embryo transfer of my lovely strong embryo, called snug, we are just waiting untill the 1st may to test to see if it has worked and will be pregnant after 4 years 4 months of trying....
